Ok, this is like the crappiest photo I've taken but you try being stealth taking a photo of your neighbors house! Their Christmas tree has been up for at least 5 days. I'm still scratching my head about it.
There is a house up the street from us that has had ALL their Christmas decorations up since the weekend of Halloween. This is one of those obnoxious houses too that puts 1000 things in their front yard that light up. I couldn't believe they did it that early either.
ours is up :). In our defense - we're going to OH for the week of Thanksgiving and then Ken has finals a week later - so whatever - we'll be THOSE people this year. :)
Don't get me wrong, Christmas is my absolute favorite time of year and I will celebrate it as long as I can. I had one of my tree's up until February last year. But when it's early it just throws me off. It's not even Thanksgiving yet! I haven't bought any Christmas gifts yet!
So, this tree is just a painful reminder of how far behind I am on getting things ready for the holidays :)
